Ingredients
  

  • Frozen blueberries (1 heaping cup)
  • Banana (1 small, ripe; fresh or frozen)
  • Greek yogurt (1/2 cup; plain or vanilla)
  • Milk (1/2 to 3/4 cup; dairy or unsweetened almond/oat milk)
  • Honey or maple syrup (1 to 2 teaspoons, to taste)

Method
 

  1. Add liquids first: Pour milk into the blender. This helps the blades catch and creates smoother blending from the start.
  2. Layer the rest: Add Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries, banana, and honey or maple syrup.
  3. Blend until smooth: Start on low speed, then increase to high for 30–45 seconds, or until creamy and even in color.
  4. Adjust texture: For a thicker smoothie, add more frozen blueberries or a few ice cubes. For a thinner texture, splash in extra milk.
  5. Taste and tweak: Add a touch more sweetener if needed, or a pinch of cinnamon for warmth. Blend 5–10 seconds to combine.
  6. Serve right away: Pour into a tall glass. If you’re on the go, use an insulated cup to keep it cold.
