Prep the fruit. Slice oranges, lemons, and limes into thin wheels.
Cut pineapple into bite-sized chunks. Rinse berries. Set aside a small portion for garnish later.
Make simple syrup if needed. Combine equal parts sugar and water in a small pot.
Warm over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Cool completely before using.
Build the base. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, lemon juice, lime juice, and cold water. Stir well.
Sweeten to taste. Add simple syrup a little at a time, stirring and tasting.
Aim for a clean, bright sweetness that doesn’t feel heavy. A small pinch of salt can enhance the fruit flavors without making it salty.
Add the fruit. Stir in the sliced citrus, pineapple chunks, and berries. Let the punch chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour so the fruit infuses the liquid.
Prepare to serve. Just before serving, add ice to the pitcher or punch bowl.
If you want to avoid dilution, add ice to individual glasses instead.
Finish with bubbles. Pour in the chilled sparkling water or club soda right before guests start pouring. This keeps the punch lively and crisp.
Garnish and enjoy. Top glasses with a citrus wheel or mint sprig. Serve immediately while it’s cold and fizzy.
