Chill your liquids: If you can, use cold orange juice and milk. Colder ingredients make a thicker, frothier drink.
Add base ingredients to the blender: Pour in orange juice, milk, water, sugar, vanilla, optional pudding mix, and a pinch of salt.
Blend briefly: Run the blender for 10–15 seconds to dissolve the sugar and incorporate the vanilla.
Add ice: Start with 1 cup of ice.
Blend on high until smooth and foamy, 20–30 seconds. If you want a thicker texture, add the remaining 1/2 cup ice and blend again.
Taste and adjust: Add a little more sugar for sweetness, a splash of milk for extra creaminess, or a few ice cubes for thickness. Blend again for 5–10 seconds.
Serve immediately: Pour into chilled glasses.
You should see a light, bubbly foam on top—that’s the signature finish.
